BRIDGTON, MAINE — Years ago, Beth Doonan stepped into the little cafe in Bridgton with her daughter, Maddy, to get some coffee, and there was something that touched her about the place — something very special!

She somehow knew she would be revisiting this 82 Main St. cafe again, sometime and some way.

And on July 4, 2008, Beth opened “Beth’s Kitchen Cafe” at this very location.

After 25 years of working in the food service industry, she finally understood what her strong connection to the business was. It was simply her passion to love people through her food and service. Beth genuinely wanted to provide a comfortable environment and a menu that would embrace all walks of life.

She considers her menu to be eclectic in nature and yet provide wholesome foods that feed everyone’s souls.

Beth and her son Coner are proud to offer freshly baked goods and delicious gourmet coffees you can smell as soon as you open the door. For lunch, you will delight in her deli sandwiches with a creative twist and a cup of her fresh, hearty soups. Her handmade pizzas and “grab and go” entrees are perfect for those on-the-run and finally don’t forget Beth’s fabulous homemade desserts.

The move of Beth’s Kitchen Cafe to 108 Main St. in Bridgton just seemed to Beth like the right thing to do. So she did it. Beth felt it was time for her to fully invest in herself into the cafe and Bridgton.

Beth’s Kitchen Cafe was evolving into a real meeting place, a real coffee house and a real eatery. Beth knew 108 Main could accommodate all of this!

Beth’s Kitchen Cafe is a small coffee house with a big menu and lots of heart.

Beth’s serves breakfast all day, gourmet sandwiches, homemade soups and entrees, hand-thrown pizza, desserts from scratch. Locally roasted organic coffees are wood-fired and completely delightful. Espressos, cappuccinos, lattes and other specialty drinks are available.

Enjoy the cafe’s comforts inside or people watching outside along upper Main Street. Open daily 7 a.m.-3 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. Ask about seasonal hours and possible live music. Wi-Fi available. Beer, wine, champagne, mixed drinks available.

Having that special function at your home or business? Let Beth’s cater your breakfast or lunch menu — from her kitchen to your home or office.

For more details give her a call at (207) 647-5211. And on your next trip to Bridgton, be sure to visit Beth’s Kitchen Cafe on Main Street. You’ll be glad you did.
