GORHAM — A Connecticut woman and child sustained serious injuries when the woman crashed the ATV she was operating on Sunday morning on The Presidential Rail Trail.

Nichole Page, 48, of Storrs, Conn., was operating an ATV with her passenger, a 12-year-old male, also of Storrs, Conn., northbound on the trail at about 7 a.m. when the accident occurred.
