OSSIPEE — White Horse Addiction Center's third annual "Freedom Event" last Friday evening drew a crowd of about 240 people, including Gov. Chris Sununu and a man who jumps into the ocean or a lake every day no matter the temperature to remember his two sons who died of overdoses.

The event — which featured dinner, silent auction and guest speakers like Sununu, governor's adviser Marty Boldin and Charles Rosa of Chucky's Fight — was held at the First Congregational Church of Ossipee.
