CONWAY — Conway Emergency Management Director George Walker said Tuesday the town is getting back to normal after havoc created by Sunday/early Monday’s rain and windstorm.

“There is still some low-level flooding, but the waters have receded,” said Walker, a lieutenant with the Conway Police Department, on Tuesday afternoon, after meeting with Gov. Chris Sununu and other officials on a tour of local damage.
