EATON — An Eaton woman says she’s grateful that a group of volunteers have rebuilt the front of her home, which was struck and severely damaged by a pickup truck almost two years ago.
In January 2017, Jonathan Lord of Tamworth, then 30, was attempting to elude New Hampshire State Police when he smashed a pickup truck he was driving into Peggy Wescott’s home at 2350 Eaton Road, which is on a sharp bend in the road also known as Route 153.
