CONWAY — Jury selection for a Bartlett attorney's lawsuit against the state over its decision to allow the Conway Rec Path to be built on former bypass land has been scheduled for Aug. 31, 2026.Â
In of May 2024, James Pietrangelo of Bartlett filed suit in Carroll County Superior Court, complaining that the state paid nearly $2 million in federal dollars for land meant to be used for the now-scrapped Conway bypass but which was made available for rec path and skate park projects. The skate park project has since been relocated. Â
