TAMWORTH — The fact that Tamworth was chosen by the state as one of five new COVID-19 testing sites has made a number of residents uncomfortable, selectmen said last week.

The Community-Based COVID-19 Testing Program established by the state Department of Health and Human Services will feature fixed drive-through testing locations in Claremont, Lancaster, Plymouth, Tamworth and Rochester.

They are staying at the local motel where they have there non essential girlfriends come and stay with them also as I work for the hotel they stay at, I understand they have a job to do but putting all the rest of us in harms way I’m scared to go to work as I’m forced to everyday as I have a mother and son home with a lot of medical problems as I’m not in the best health myself but have no choice cuz I can’t lose my job or I can’t feed my family but in the same since I don’t want to lose my family but when ur being forced to do something u don’t want to do make life hard being forced between a job and living or losing ur family and being forced by my employer to clean there rooms even when corporate has said no going into rooms where ppl are staying doesn’t work for my boss and he and his wife refuse to cuz they have a son isn’t fair to others I refuse to go in rooms the other day because the guys are in and out and I’m not willing to catch this and all I do is get yelled at by my boss I know the town is having a hard time with these people being here but put yourself in my shoes of having to deal with them and walk past him in the hallways I start crying I start having a panic attack because I don’t want to lose my life or my families but when you’re forced to do something because you have no choice or you lose your job the one source of feeding my family is stuck between a rock and a hard spot.
