CONWAY — The 104th New Hampshire Presidential Primary Election is upon us. Town clerks, supervisors of the checklists and moderators are in for a long day at the polls today. Secretary of State David Scanlan is predicting a strong voter turnout.

Scanlan is predicting 322,000 people will cast Republican ballots and 88,000 will take Democratic ballots. His office reported 267,768 registered Republicans in New Hampshire, 261,254 registered Democrats and 344,335 undeclared voters, as of Friday.
