CONWAY — “People are going to have sticker shock,” Conway School Board member Randy Davison said Monday night as he cast the lone vote against supporting the proposed 2025-26 operating budget.

If the budget — $41,637,542 — is approved by voters on April 8, citizens with a house valued at the state median of $500,000 will see an increase in their tax bills of $317.
