CONWAY — Two women arrested in December following a fatal overdose investigation are now facing felony charges carrying potential life sentences, and are directly tied to the death of a 39-year-old woman at a North Conway motel, according to Conway police.

In a press release issued Wednesday, the police announced that Patricia Baranski, 47, of Conway, and Christina Babb, 51, of Fryeburg, Maine, have been charged with sale of a controlled drug, death resulting, in connection with the Dec. 11, 2025, death of Amanda Parsons at the Hitching Post Motel in Conway.
