CONWAY — Town Manager Tom Holmes recently told selectmen that a lawyer with the state Department of Revenue Administration has apologized to him for not answering his questions on short-term rentals.
After trying to find out how many short-term rentals are paying rooms and meals tax but being shrugged off by the Department of Revenue Administration, Conway selectmen voted Jan. 7 to file a right-to-know request seeking that data, but such s request never had to be filed.
