CONWAY — A candidate for Democratic nomination to the 1st Congressional District, Lincoln Soldati of Portsmouth is launching a "New Hampshire Brewery Tour" called Drinkin' With Lincoln to spotlight these essential homegrown businesses and his own homegrown candidacy. Born and raised in the Granite Stste, Soldati will spend the summer touring 10 breweries in Wolfeboro, Conway, North Hampton, Rollinsford, Manchester, Somersworth, Dover, Exeter and Portsmouth.
Central to Soldati’s campaign is a concerted push for Medicare for All, a needed healthcare overhaul that will not only be good for public health, but good for the economy and small businesses too. “I’ve been meeting with business owners across our state and everyone tells me the same thing – healthcare costs are too high.” Soldati describes, “60% of business bankruptcies in this country are due to healthcare – really health insurance – costs. This is unacceptable. Healthcare is a right, and its time we treated it that way. This is something Democrats and increasingly Republicans support and it’s time we had a representative in Washington willing to push for it.”
