CONWAY — Students were evacuated from Kennett Middle School late Monday morning after smoke was reported inside the building, officials said.
The evacuation began around 11:50 a.m. after staff reported smelling smoke inside the school. Students were moved outside to the parking lot before being relocated to the nearby gym at Conway Intermediate School due to the damp weather while firefighters investigated.
