CONWAY — Students at Kennett High School got an unexpected day off on Thursday after officials were forced to cancel classes due to a septic issue.

Superintendent Kevin Richard said staff at the high school discovered “sewage issues” in the downstairs bathrooms at the 2007-built facility on Wednesday afternoon. School officials worked to fix the problem.
