FRYEBURG, Maine — Selectmen viewed and considered uses for the Oxford County’s recently shuttered Registry of Deeds building during a tour led by County Administrator Tom Winsorin Fryeburg last Thursday but ultimately took no official action on the building’s future.

County officials closed the building in late August, citing changes in the way registry business is transacted, said Winsor, who noted that much of that business can now be carried out online.
