Santa Claus arrived in North Conway's Schouler Park last Friday afternoon, where he was greeted by about 140 people, including Katie Hebert and daughter Riley, 5 of Melrose, Mass. and Center Conway. The presentation was a collaboration of the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Conway Parks and Recreation Department and was capped by a treelighting ceremony. CONWAY — After a break of a few years, Santa Claus returned to North Conway Village for a well-attended welcoming on a chilly late Friday afternoon.

The white-bearded, ol’ gent was accompanied by an elf as he walked through Schouler Park, stopping to speak with children.
