CONWAY — Locals helping locals — that was the spirit last Saturday as volunteers measured, filled and sealed meal packets that will go to local food pantries, creating the equivalent of 27,500 meals — 15,000 mac and cheese and 12,500 apple cinnamon oatmeal breakfasts.
It was the Rotary Club of North Conway Rotary’s first-ever Outreach End Hunger meal-packing event, held at the North Conway Community Center.
