CONWAY — Selectmen recently made the tough decision that there will be no ice rink at Schouler Park this year, citing warm winters and a lack of help.
Town Manager John Eastman, who served for many years as the town’s recreation director before being promoted, said he has always enjoyed having a rink in the park but said it’s just no longer practical for a variety of reasons.
