CONWAY — It appears that SAU 9 has not seen the last of the New Hampshire Interlocal Trust, the health insurance provider that in May raised premiums far above the 8.5 percent increase cap that was promised. Now, it claims the SAU owes $537,000.

In late March, with the school warrant already set, NHIT notified districts and municipalities that due to pending Senate Bill 297, it would be raising premiums by 39.6 percent, which to Conway meant paying another $3 million for staff health coverage.
