WOLFEBORO — New details have emerged about a woman alleged to have tried to scam hackers out of a laptop they bilked from a local business, have emerged from paperwork made available on July 5 in Ossipee’s circuit court.

Police on July 1 arrested a woman and charged her with theft of a laptop computer allegedly purchased by international hackers who obtained the money for it by breaking into a local business' bank account. The woman claimed she thought she was dealing with terrorists.
