OSSIPEE — After months of discussing it, on Thursday, embattled Carroll County Commissioner Mathew Plache (R-Wolfeboro) finally put his resignation in writing, which allows the county legislative delegation to move forward on filling the seat he plans to vacate next month.
Plache was elected to a four-year term as the District 3 commissioner last November after completing a two-year term. However, in March, he announced his intention to resign in May.
