CONWAY — In the wee hours of last Thursday morning, 30 gingerbread men escaped from the K-6 Pine Tree School in Center Conway. After a search of the town by the school’s kindergartners and their teachers, the fugitives had been rounded up and bused back to the classroom.
School officials said the crafty gingerbread men’s plans to escape Dec. 19, were thwarted by torrential rains.
