CONWAY — Voters at the North Conway Water Precinct’s annual meeting on Wednesday overwhelmingly passed an article to design and construct a facility to mitigate PFAS (so-called “forever chemicals”) contamination in leachate from Conway’s landfill that is brought to the wastewater treatment facility.

The vote, taken by secret ballot, was 40-8.
