BARTLETT — Despite two warrant articles being approved at the annual school district meeting in March, giving contracted teachers at Josiah Bartlett Elementary School a $6,000 signing/retention bonus and non-contracted staff a $2-per-hour raise — the Bartlett School Board, which has the ultimate say on funding, has chosen not to allocate them.

Board member Andrew Light broke the news at Tuesday’s meeting when he gave an update on the personnel committee. It was not well received by some staff and residents in the audience.
