CONWAY — Sixty-four decorated gingerbread men escaped from Lakeside Primary School in Center Conway on Tuesday, but thanks to a townwide hunt, and help along the way, the kindergartners at the K-2 school were reunited with their art projects by 1:30 p.m.

It was the 13th time in the past 14 years that pupils at the school (dating back to when it was called Pine Tree) have participated in the hunt. In 2020, it took a hiatus due to COVID-19.
