Beckett Clark, the senior class president at Kennett High, plans to attend the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. and intends to major in civil engineering. He delivered Saturday’s closing address:
Hello everyone. Before I start, I would just like to dedicate this speech to one of the best people I know. Doug Norris has been one of the most influential people in my life, and even though he couldn't be here today, I hope he knows that I blame most of my success and who I am as a person today because of him. And I know he couldn't be here, but I know he's watching, and I hope he feels better than ever soon. I love you.
