By Steve Woodcock, Special to The Conway Daily Sun

On May 8, the House was once again thin on attendance, down about 10 percent, or 40 members, so a typical party line vote ran about 195-plus to 165. There was a constitutional amendment to raise the mandatory retirement age for sheriffs from 70 years old to 75.
