FRYEBURG, Maine — About two dozen residents attended a public hearing on a proposed $15.5 million municipal complex that will likely be voted on at town meeting in June.

Town officials have long said that the town office, police station and fire station are too small and inadequate. The police station is in leased space in the Fryeburg rescue building. And the fire department lacks ventilation to remove smoke from truck exhaust.
