CONWAY — Lindsay Hamrick, New Hampshire State Director-State Affairs from the Humane Society of the United States, is more optimistic than ever that the Granite State will have stiffer animal cruelty laws by this time next year.

Speaking at Four Your Paws Only in North Conway on Wednesday night, Hamrick shared with a crowd of 22 citizens two new pieces of legislation she hopes will be taken up by the state Legislature in January. She also spoke about the 84 Great Danes seized from a Wolfeboro woman earlier this year.

The HSUS is a factory fundraising organization. If your property is seized by the government it is the GOVERNMENTS responsibility to care for your property unless your case is settled . This case has not been settled. The HSUS has NO right to care for these dogs at any cost. Three have already died in their "care". How many more will go down? No one knows. If the defendant is found not guilty she should be suing them. This grab was a money maker for the HSUS you can be they made way more than 500K on donations and trashed a woman reputation BEFORE any charges were laid. Friends Don't let Friends Donate to the HSUS
