CONWAY — It's another great day of skiing and riding today, with packed powder and everything open for the second weekend of February vacation week No. 1. The highlight today is fireworks at Cranmore at 6 p.m. Another storm is in the forecast for Sunday, so keep your ski tips, or fingers, crossed, that the precipitation comes as mostly snow.
The highlight of the weekend is the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring and Snowshoe Association's 30th annual Inn-to-Inn Chocolate Festival, which can be done on skis, snowshoes or by shuttle bus as well as in private cars with the purchase of a special festival pass from the office at Ragged Mountain Equipment (603-356-9920) in Intervale in person or online (mwvskitouring.org), or at member establishments the day of the event. See details below under MWV Ski Touring.
