2020 Tuckerman Inferno canceled due to COVID-19

CONWAY — Jake Risch, president of Friends of Tuckerman Ravine, announced Thursday that the 2020 Tuckerman Inferno, the Northeast’s premier single-day adventure race, which benefits the Friends and Mount Washington Avalanche Center, has been canceled. “Given the current guidelines issued by the CDC to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people, we cannot ask our community to ignore this threat.” Risch said they will be refunding all race entries paid to date, and are working on new ideas for a replacement fundraiser that supports responsible outdoor activity. “Stay tuned for more information.”
