BARTLETT — Former Bartlett School Board member Scott Grant is not happy with the direction education is going in the “Greatest little town on Earth,” and encouraged current members to issue a vote of no confidence for Superintendent Aimee Frechette and Josiah Bartlett Elementary School Principal Phyllis Bellemare.
Grant, who fell short in his bid for an 11th term last year, has been a regular at meetings since then and vocal during public comments. Appearing Aug. 4 meeting, Grant gave the board an earful, touching on everything from declining enrollment to closing a portion of the school.
