HARTS LOCATION — On Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m., storyteller Andy Davis will be performing at The Notchland Inn in Hart’s Location. The event is the last of 20 performances Davis is doing through New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts this summer, from Lake Champlain to Provincetown, getting to all of them by bicycle, on two tours totaling 24 days and 900 miles. On Sept.r 2 he bicycles home to Tamworth.
He'll be telling tales to amuse and lift up, a mixed set that he calls “In the Spirit of Scheherazade,” which includes personal tales, a bit of folklore, and a smattering of history, taking listeners back and forth across the Atlantic and from ancient times to the recent past. There will be laughter. There might be tears.
