JACKSON — Voters entering the polls at Jackson’s Whitney Center on Tuesday morning were presented with two conflicting pieces of advice on how to fill out their ballots.

Inside each ballot booth, a laminated poster advised voters to “make a cross in the box to the right of your choice.” Meanwhile, paper ballots told voters to “completely fill in the oval to the right of your choice.”
