OSSIPEE — The possibility of a solar array at the Carroll County complex is being explored by a newly formed committee.

At the Aug. 11 meeting of the Carroll County commissioners, the board —consisting of chair Chuck McGee (R-Moultonborough), Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett) and Harold Parker (R-Wolfeboro) — approved the creation of a five-member committee to study the feasibility of solar energy for the county. The committee will be chaired by Wharton Sinkler of Sandwich.
