CONWAY — Close to 120 people shoehorned themselves into the lobby of Cooper Cargill Chant legal services in North Conway last Saturday for a campaign visit by newly declared presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.).

As testament to the junior New Jersey senator and former Newark mayor’s star power, attendees also were gathered in the practice’s two conference rooms and on the porch.
