BARTLETT — “It’s not all that often on a 90-degree day that we get called out for a chimney fire, but we did,” Bartlett Fire Chief Pat Roberts said after the department successfully extinguished a midmorning chimney fire at unit 7 in the Sugarwood On the Saco condominium development in Glen on Wednesday.
Roberts said Bartlett FD was toned out at approximately 11:10 a.m. to find black smoke barreling out of the chimney. The department extinguished the fire within minutes.
