BARTLETT — The warrant for the annual Bartlett school meeting March 4 could get a lot longer if two citizens bring forward petitioned articles.

One calls for  taxpayers to pay 100 percent of medical and dental insurance for contracted teachers and support staff, while another seeks to merge the Bartlett and Jackson school districts.

The cell tower should builder/operator that is being stuffed down our throats should pay for any and all increased costs for schools, for as long as it exists. Then maybe it would be worth the destruction to our valley that it will cause.

After all the overpaid babysitters that our schools have become deserve a bigger piece of the pie? Right?

Maybe if they proved their worth, they could make claim for an increase? But there arent any workers left in this country that get full paid benefits of any kind. Everyone contributes. The days of employer paid benifits are long gone, and if they were to make a comeback, there are alot better places to start than teachers who already get above and beyond for the amount if time they put in on the job. Lets pray all the insane articles are rejected by the voters. How much more blood can they draw from our stones ? The well is dry, bark up another tree.
