CONWAY — A local couple accused of dealing drugs in North Conway and who were indicted by a Carroll County grand jury earlier this month July could face life in prison if convicted.

On July 19, Manuel Gomes, 34, of Bartlett and Heaven Hebert, 32, of Conway were indicted in Superior Court on charges of “controlled drug act, enterprise leader.” The “enterprise leader” indictment is being charged as special felonies that carry sentences of 25 years to life in prison and a $500,000 fine.
