OSSIPEE — The county jail employee who demanded a public hearing for his grievance against county commissioners opted to keep the matter under wraps  recently.

At the July 25 commission meeting, county corrections department employee Dean Perry accused commissioners David Sorensen and Dorothy Solomon of mishandling his appeal of his suspension demotion from the rank of sergeant to corrections officer. Two weeks ago, he called for the grievance to be addressed in public session. Subsequently, an administrative hearing was scheduled for the following Wednesday afternoon.
