CONWAY — It’s been a cold and windy spring so far, but Mothe rNature is finally giving us some warmer temps for the weekend, which comes as good news for all of us here in the shadow of Mount Washington who have not been able to hop on a plane for warmer climes this slower season.

On my way to go down to the Ham Arena to watch some of the annual Old Man of the Mpountains Tournament Friday, I passed a row of blooming Forsythia bushes alongside the former Methodist Church in Conway Village, so I just had to stop and snap a shot of them in all of their yellow splendor.
