Tamworth Town Column: The Community School to host auction April 14

I love auctions: you never know what you will take home with you to embellish your home or even drive around in. Come along to The Community School at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. Items on the auction block include a 2003 BMW; beautiful hand-crafted jewelry; antique furniture; local meats; European wines; cider; gift certificates for many local merchants; and restaurants tools, kitchen gadgets quilts; sports equipment; furniture; lessons in chair caning; original paintings; prints; and a tech basket filled with gadgets.

The slumgullion crew will be preparing all manner of savory and sweet delicacies and there will be a selection of beverages. There is no admission fee; just several hours of friendly silent auction bidding competition. Cash and checks are accepted and credit cards for a small additional charge.
