Message from librarian Amy Carter of Cook Memorial Library: “The next perambulation of the Tamworth town boundary is planned for this Saturday, Oct. 24. We will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the beginning of Ferncroft Road, just after the Ferncroft mailboxes. There are a few parking spots there. We will then carpool to the southwest corner of the Tamworth Chimney. From there, we will walk the Albany Town Line west, about 2 miles to the Sandwich Town Line. This 2 mile section is one of the more gentle ones. There is a ridge to climb up, but it is only about 120 vertical feet of climbing. There will be a few forested sections, well away from any houses, where we will repaint old blazes.
