Fryeburg Town Column: Library seeking submissions for Community Cookbook Project

Calling all cooks and bakers: the Fryeburg Public Library and Friends of the Fryeburg Library would like your recipes for its Community Cookbook Project. Do you have a favorite recipe that you cook or bake all the time or one that was handed down through generations of relatives? They would love to include those recipes in the Community Cookbook Project. Stop by the library during open hours with your recipe or email it to library@fryeburgmaine.org. String musicians from the Portland Symphony Orchestra will be presenting "Beethoven: Inventor, Rebel, Storyteller" at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center on Monday, Jan. 22, at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. By breaking down this famous composer’s music into easy-to-understand patterns and excerpts, this performance reveals the simplicity and cleverness that makes Beethoven’s works great. KinderKonzerts are educationally aimed at pre-kindergarten through second grade students. There is a general admission price of $4 per person. Proceeds help MSAD 72 continue to fund musical experiences for students.
