The Fryeburg Town Office will be closed Thursday, Oct. 12, for voting at the American Legion. Voting for the special town meeting on Oct. 12 will be held at the American Legion on Bradley Street from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center’s Bradley Backstage concert series presents the Twangtown Paramours this Friday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. The music of the Twangtown Paramours has been called “sophisticated Americana” and “a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes.” This award-winning husband and wife acoustic duo is known for their well-crafted songs, top-notch lead singing and fine harmonies. They have performed at nationally recognized venues such as Uncle Calvin’s in Dallas, Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
