The Freedom Historical Society invites you to the Freedom Art Gallery on Friday, June 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate its 50th year with cake, cheese and beverages. They will give a toast to the next 50 years and feature the new 2019 calendar “Remarkable People of Freedom’s Past.” Join in for the celebration of 50 years of preserving the story of Freedom and the kick off of the summer festivities.

Saturday, June 30, is Ducky Day in Freedom. Festivities start at 10 a.m. with games for kids; horse drawn carriage and fire truck rides through the village; picture opportunities with Splashy the Duck; food prepared by the Masons; bake sale, Ladies Guild quilt and craft sale; library book sale, go to the Freedom Historical Society; and the Freedom Village Store yard sale.
