The new year is upon us and the party is in Freedom. The Freedom Village Store will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party at the Town Hall. Hors d’oeurves, beverages, dancing and music will finish out 2019 in style. Tickets are limited and on sale now at the Freedom Village Store for $25 each. While picking up your ticket, fresh local milk, bread, honey, eggs and more are available. Looking to avoid making a pie? You can purchase a variety of pies at The Freedom Village Store for the holidays. Our pies are freshly made from a local baker.

Bold colors, vivid imagination and thoughtful connections ... it's all present on the library walls this winter. Freedom's own Laura S. Thomson is the Freedom Public Library's featured artist from now through February. Thomson has put together a special show that she calls "Homage to the Seasons" featuring over two dozen big, bright, beautiful canvases — oils and beeswax encaustics — that lead the viewer on an imaginative journey through the cycle of the year.
