Mark your calendars for the Freedom Elementary art exhibit on Friday, June 15. In preparation for that exhibit, Freedom Elementary School art teacher, Kim Stephan brought her classes to visit the gallery Tuesday, May 15.

The students were instructed to choose their favorite piece of art in the gallery, and guided by an art reflection work sheet, they wrote about their chosen piece using terminology and concepts they have studied during the year. The exhibit, June 15 from 5 to 8 p.m., will include both their chosen favorites accompanied by their comments, as well as their own pieces they have painted specifically for display in the gallery.
