Rose P. Clark, 94, of Conway died Jan. 25 at the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in North Conway after a long illness. Born in Boston, MA, the daughter of William and Ellen (Broderick) Hittenhime, she lived in Plainfield, CT for ten years before moving to Conway in 1978.Mrs. Clark had been a telephone operator with the New England Telephone Company in the 1930s.The family includes: a daughter, Jacqueline Mulley of Lakewood, CO; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a niece, Deborah A. Drumm of Antrim. Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband, Amos W. Clark, in 1970, her daughter, Joan Steinhorst, in 2003 and a sister, Anne Drumm, in 1999.Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
