Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)is the foundation of our practice at the Child and Family Center for Wellness. CBT is a structured, collaborative, therapeutic approach. It utilizes coping skills and strategies that resolve current life stressors through targeting unhelpful thought patterns. CBT is an evidenced-based, best practice for both children and adults. Each therapist at the Child and Family Center for Wellness has trained in and utilizes CBT as well as other treatment modalities.

Robin Winter-Weber, licensed clinical mental health counselor and registered art therapist, joined the Child and Family Center for Wellness in 2015. She has experience working in adult day treatment, clinical settings and private practice. Robin treats older children, adults and adolescents practicing a variety of treatments including CBT and art therapy. She provides treatments for a number of mental health concerns, including anxiety, substance abuse, depression, trauma and adjustment to transitional issues. A longtime resident of the Mount Washington Valley, Robin works cooperatively with health-care providers, schools and other support systems.
